AT A GLANCE · FIVE QUESTIONS
You do not need to learn peptide science first
MYTH.A safe choice takes hours of technical research.
FACT.Five ordinary questions reveal most of what matters. Clear answers beat scientific-sounding language.
Name the medicine
Semaglutide had no FDA-approved generic that could be marketed in this country as of September 2026.
Ask whether the offer is an approved product or a compounded preparation. If it is compounded, ask why that form is being considered for this particular patient.
Name the people and places
As of September 2026, the clinician generally needs a licence or other valid authority in the state where the patient is located during the visit.
The FDA warns that some fraudulent semaglutide labels give the name of a pharmacy that is not real, or of one that never made the medicine.
Write down both names: clinician and pharmacy. Then check each one in the proper state record.
Name the full price
As of September 2026, five of the six national online weight-care services we checked charged a monthly membership, and each of those five billed the medicine on top of it.
Ask for the recurring care fee, medicine cost, testing cost, cancellation terms and price after any opening offer.
